Matt Mumma appointed President and COO of Scioto Properties
Powell, OH, September 24th, 2019- Scioto’s Board of Directors announced today that Mary Bea Eaton President and CEO of Scioto Properties has decided to retire from her position, effective on January 1st, 2020. After 14 successful years of executive leadership at Scioto Properties and 30 years in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities industry (I/DD), Ms. Eaton will be reflecting on how best to benefit the industry through her board affiliations. As a result of Ms. Eaton’s decision to retire, the Board will appoint Matt Mumma to serve as Scioto’s President and COO, effective immediately. Matt, who recently joined Scioto in June 2019, brings 23 years of experience as a provider for I/DD and behavioral health services in various executive roles throughout his career. Going forward, Ms. Eaton expects to remain active within the industry supporting the needs of I/DD residents. She will continue to work with Scioto’s Board and Management team in an advisory capacity for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020 to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and help with the Company’s expansion and diversification efforts. “I am excited to be able to continue to be involved with Scioto and continue to support the culture that has made the Company so successful”, said Ms. Eaton.
